Here you will find all the information you need about Studydrive Premium!
What does Studydrive Premium cost?
You can purchase a monthly, half-yearly or yearly subscription of Studydrive Premium.
- Exam Pass: 1-month sub – €9.99/month, billed monthly
- Semester Pass: 6-months sub (saves you 50%) – €4.99/month, billed every six months
- Power Pass: 12-months sub (saves you 60%) – €3.99/month, billed annually
The price remains the same for the 12 and 6-month plans after the end of the purchased minimum term, even though you can then cancel the subscriptions every month. You can of course enjoy the advantages of Premium both on the website and in the app.

Why is there a premium version of Studydrive?
It’s important to us that you and all students on Studydrive have the best learning tools and experience available to succeed with your exams. We therefore want to continually develop Studydrive and give you innovative, fun and useful features. A subscription model allows us to do just that. It means that you can expect exciting new features that are tailored to your needs, which will result in a better learning experience for everyone on Studydrive.
How can I get Premium with Credits?
You can also purchase Premium with your Studydrive Credits. You get Credits for every document you upload (this is new), getting downloads/views on your documents and by inviting other students to Studydrive. Here's how many Credits each action brings you:
- For your first document upload – 600 Credits
- Every other upload – 100 Credits
- Each Download – 2 Credits
- Inviting friends – 50 Credits
You also receive Credits for the creation of your first flashcard set and for every time someone studies with your flashcards.
As a special early contributor offer you will get a 50% discount on Premium, if purchased with Credits. This means:
- Exam Pass: 1 month Premium – 1000 Credits
- Semester Pass: 6 months Premium – 3000 Credits
- Power Pass: 12 months Premium – 4800 Credits
Is there a free trial version to test out Studydrive Premium?
We do not currently offer a free trial period. To find out if Studydrive Premium is right for you, we recommend the Exam Pass (1-month subscription). It's the perfect test duration!
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime to the end of your period. Simply click on your profile icon and select "My subscription". There you can see information about your current subscription and cancel it. In case you purchased Premium via the app, you need to manage or cancel your subscription directly in your app store settings – i.e. in the Apple App Store under ‘Subscriptions’ or in the Google Play Store under ‘Payments & Subscriptions’.
Alternatively, you can cancel your subscription by sending an email to info@studydrive.net. You can of course use Premium until the last day of your purchased plan.
The notice period is two days.
Do I have to pay for downloads?
If you want to download documents, you will need a Studydrive Premium subscription. However, all documents are still available online on Studydrive and can be viewed and studied with without a subscription. For thorough exam preparations, purchasing a Premium subscription will allow you to use your documents offline, without distractions, and lets you annotate and highlight them.
What changes for me as someone who uploads documents?
Absoluuuutely nothing!! If someone views your document for longer than 30 seconds, that automatically counts as a download for you (even if they don’t actually download the document). So once someone studies with your document, you get the downloads – whether they have a Premium subscription or not – it doesn’t matter.
Why is it possible to post anonymously with Premium?
Some students feel more comfortable posting anonymously – for example, when it comes to sensitive topics or personal questions. At the same time, we value a trusting and authentic community where people support each other and are visible. With the anonymous posting feature as part of Premium, we want to enable both: a strong, open community and, at the same time, a protected space for those who prefer to remain anonymous.
