AI Flashcards: How does it Work?
What are AI flashcards?
AI flashcards are a Studydrive feature you can use to generate flashcards for a chosen study document. This feature is available for almost all document types, include summaries, assignments, lecture notes, tutorials, and more.
The logic behind this feature is to quickly consolidate and compile relevant information into flashcard form, so as to make the finding and studying of useful material easier. The actual content does not undergo any change, since the AI will lift info from the user-generated document itself. All it does is alter the format.
Our other offering in this area is AI summaries. The same logic is followed, and the final product is an AI-enhanced summary of your chosen study document.
How can I generate AI flashcards?
It's very simple. Navigate to the Docs Search page, and type in a search query. Choose and open the document that matches your search.
Once in the document, navigate to the top of the document to find the AI Flashcard feature.
Click on it to proceed further.
The processing time can be between 1 and 3 minutes. In case of a delay, you can also save it to an existing or new Study List to review later.
