Card Games

You have planned a games evening with your friends or need a break from studying? We have put together some card games and tricks.
Card games
Kings Cup
A fun drinking game for your next house party.
Rules
The cards are placed face down on the table and a large container is placed in the middle of the table. All players draw a playing card one after the other and depending on the card or card value drawn, each player must perform different actions. The meanings of each card can be found here:

President
An extremely entertaining card game that requires a lot of skill.
Rules:
The player to the left of the dealer starts by turning over a single card or a deck of cards of the same value (e.g. three fives). Each player must then either fold (i.e. not play cards) or lay a card or set of cards that beats the card or set of cards previously played. A single card is beaten by each higher single card. A set of cards can only be beaten by the same number of cards of equal or higher rank. You can always fold. If you pass, you will still play in the next round when it is your turn. The game continues until one player lays a card where all other players fold. All cards played are then put away face down. The player who last played on the previous "trick" (and made the highest hand) starts the game over again by playing a card or a deck of cards of the same rank. The first player who has no more cards is given the highest social rank. In the USA this is the President. Next comes the Vice President, Citizen and then the Asshole.

Spoons
A quick response is required here.
Rules:
Depending on the number of players, take as many quartets (sets of four) from a pack of playing cards. So if there are five players, you play with five quartets, i.e. with twenty cards. The cards are now shuffled and distributed to the players. Spoons are also placed in the middle of the table, always one less than the number of players. The players pick up their cards and try to form a complete quartet. On command, each player places a card he does not need face down on the table, passes this card to his left neighbor and picks up the card passed to him by his right neighbor. As soon as a player has a complete quartet, he puts it face up on the table and takes a stone from the middle of the table. The other players now also try to grab one stone each - regardless of whether they own a quartet themselves or not. Whoever does not get a stone loses and is eliminated. The next round is played among the remaining players, of course a quartet is removed from the deck and a stone from the center of the table. The last remaining player wins.

Cheating
Here it is necessary to lie and cheat if you want to win in the end.
Rules:
A normal deck of cards without jokers is divided equally among all players. The number of players is unlimited. The players pick up their cards and arrange them in the hand. The game begins by laying any card face up by the first player and alternately serving that suit or figure now face down by announcing that suit and placing a card on top of the first. Since the goal is to get rid of all cards first, you have to cheat. If a player suspects that this card was discarded against the rules because it does not match the announced colour, this calls cheating or knocks on the table and the last card is revealed. If the player was right in his suspicion, the cheater must pick up the entire deck. If he was wrong, he must take the cards lying on the table as a penalty. All kinds of cheating are allowed, therefore several cards may be discarded. If a player is caught cheating, he must take the cards lying on the table into his own hand.

Oil and Water
The laws of physics cannot be overcome. Red is water and black is oil.
Favourite card
You don't need any practice for this trick and it is amazing in any case.
