guys.....on page 275 th exact definition reads "the life cycle analogy method is a qualitative forecasting technique that attempts to identify the time frames and demand levels for the introduction, growth, maturity, and decline life cycle stages of a new product or service"

I had my doubts there too.. I thought it would be a substitute or about the life stages
Maybe because due to the narrow market, no substitutes available and therefore no previous or comparable knowledge. Thats how I intrepret it....

Guys check page 40, version 2: Why is it D? well the "no previous knowledge" part makes sense but it doesnt have to be for a very specific niche market, does it?
